This has happened before.  Now once again, recently, a fracking ban has been struck down in court:

Sayonara to another fracking ban

Can the NY ban be far behind?  Not if a challenge is brought in Federal Court.  The NY State courts are, of course, corrupted with bias beyond description.  These remarks in the New York Times are about as evenhanded as you would expect from America's leading purveyor of liberal dogma:

The New York Times - always fair and balanced!

The New York Times - WABOA!

One of the issues that bothers me with regard to these "fracking" bans is that, the people who promote them claim it is local people who are behind them. When in fact it is a National, organized effort by people who oppose fossil fuels. For instance; this article points out that the language for the ban was written by the Pennsylvania Community Environmental Defense Fund. This organization is also behind many other ban efforts across the nation.

This type of dishonesty is typical of the anti fossil fuel movement in the country. They believe the end justifies the means and any tactic is ok to meet their end.
