Seven levels below investment grade!   Who are these people with so much spare cash that they can invest in a company with no assets and no income....to the tune of 2B?

Have you seen the valuations for the Russell 2000 lately?

?

You asked who these people with all the spare cash are and why they'd invest in a company with no assets and no income.  My evidence of who they are and why they do it is the insane valuations of hundreds of companies on the open market.  You know what, if I have to explain it in detail then it must not have been a very effective or funny joke.  Apologies.

Let me step back in time:

  • it's a new paradigm
  • cash is trash
  • It's different this time
  • Earnings don't matter

And that all seems accurate--once again. Investing is completely upside down based upon fundamentals. Wait til the bubble bursts.

Pure Speculation.......

High risk  with potential high rewards.

It is cash they can afford to loose.

Who is they?  Because Aubery will be funded by institutional investors, which means pensions from state and local workers across the country.  You know, the ordinary schlubs whose investments always get hammered the worst when these things go pear-shaped.

You left out two words:

Taxpayer bailouts.
