Eclipse Resource Corp.’s “Purple Hayes” well with its 18,500-foot lateral is in Millwood Township in Ohio’s Guernsey County.
The lateral that is 3½ miles in length was drilled in 18 days and hydraulically fractured or fracked in 124 stages, the company said Thursday in an earnings call with analysts and the media.
The Utica Shale well is producing more condensate, a form of oil, than had been projected, company officials said.

Hey I have property borders Millwood! I wonder if there into my land or sucking from it????

Last December Eclipse told me that if this experimental works out it makes drilling economical at lower commodity prices which speeds up drilling schedules across their holdings.

I think at this time it is as much a matter of obtaining financing as anything.
