Jackie Root (NARO-PA): "everybody hates oil and gas companies..."

“There’s a reason everybody hates oil and gas companies,” says NARO-PA president Jackie Root. “They got so outrageously greedy. If they can’t operate profitably, they should shut the wells in.”

Root remains optimistic Everett’s latest bill may be gaining some legs, but says her frustration is mounting.

“They need to get off their arrogant high horse,” she says of the state legislature. “I just can’t believe [drillers will] be allowed to take all the gas from beneath Pennsylvania and not pay the royalty owners.”

Jackie is right about O&G companies.

These Shale Play States think only the landowners are being cheated, but it's actually every Citizen of each state being stolen from.

Ohio's atty gnls office employee told me "We Don't Care What Happens To Oil & Gas after it comes out of the ground".

Not caring about what happens to Oil & Gas after it leaves the ground short changes the whole state, but I'm betting those folks who don't care have gotten their share of the take, and are not doing their job to protect the Citizens of the state from obvious theft.

No one chooses O&G over their own Citizens out of loyalty to O&G companies due to the business they are in, but because of the money they can make available to those who believe in Pay to Play.

Chesapeake will go around the Country paying those on the take, twisting leases using the law, not honoring leases that they signed then put lawyers to work interpreting those leases in a way to avoid royalty payment. Chesapeake will work hard to hide the truth and pretend they have something they will never own, a reputation of an Honest, Ethical, Fair Paying company.

Like Chesapeake's Access Midstream pipeline company hiding as Williams Partners, no amount of Shell Game tactics will ever cover up the past and future deeds of Chesapeake Energy and it's Affiliates.

Hopefully,

Land owners and royalty owners will contact their legislators ( continually ) and demand action.

Don't just call or write once. Do it, at least, weekly, if not more often. There is nothing that politicians fear more than a motivated constituency.

Chesapeake Energy, A National Theft Problem.

We all have to face this issue as if it were a local problem, when in fact this is a National Problem of theft.

Everyone who is Someone knows the truth, Everyone under production who are no one also know the truth.

Only those not under production, don't talk to neighbors, don't have a computer, or have never done an Internet Search, such as "Chesapeake Theft", are unaware of this National Problem.

With all of these new and old agencies in the US watching & listening to us, you would think they would be reporting to a common agency that HUGE numbers of US Citizens are being robbed by one company.

It's time we face this National Issue of Lawlessness by one corporation. No good will ever come to those who disregard the laws and Citizens of the US.
