Farmington Activity

Anyone have any idea what companies are offering in Farmington, PA? We were offered $750/ac and 15% for our 46 acres, but don't think that is a good enough offer compared to what other landowners are getting in other counties.

I was offered $650.00 per acre (5 acre lot), and % 14.5......That's with surface rights!

IF possible, I would appreciate you sharing the name of that company or landperson
who made this offer. I will share my leads with you, if you would wish to have them. It seems as if everyone feels they have a secret between themselves and the land persons.

In Haynesville we got 20k and acre and 25% royalties... Not sure why they are paying pennies up in PA. I have property on top of summit mountain 26 acres. Let me know what you guys hear. Wish those 26 acres were down here... $750 an acre is a joke and 15% makes me naucious.

BE CAREFUL OF ANY OF THESE COMPANIES THEY KNOW WHAT'S THERE AND CAN AFFORD TO PAY A LOT. ATLAS HAS PARTNERED WITH INDIA AND GOT ALMOST 15000 PER ACRE WHEN THEY PAID NOTHING FOR THE LEASE TO LAND OWNERS. FYI THE MOVIE GASLAND IS GOING TO BE SHOWN AT THE STATE THEATER ON OCT 3RD AT 1 AND 3 AND THIS IS FREE TO THE PUBLIC. COME AND SEE THE TRUTH FOR YOUR SELF! THIS IS NOT BEING PAID FOR BY GAS COMPANIES OR POLITICIANS BUT BY AN AMERICAN.

Are there any property owners that join or are close to your proprty that have signed yet ? If not then you should see if they would be willing to pull together for a larger area of land to market to the drilling companies.

Atlas made the offer. Marathon is also leasing land up here.
