Extremely short notice.
Just found out about this.
My daughter attends Syracuse University and is a Geology Major.
The problem with the whole situation in New York is the complete lack of input by Geologists.
The geology community in New York are not pleased about the misinformation (okay lies) being spread by the Walter Hangs, Josh Fox,s and airhead actors from downstate - some of it happening right here on this website.
They are not even being consulted in a meaningful way by the NYDEC.
On one side there is a multitude of facts and the history of hydrofracking in support,
On the other side there is theory and EMOTION about what could happen not backed up by any meaningful facts.
