Leasing in Cambria County, PA

I'm trying to find out what the current rate is for leases in Cambria County, PA, primarily in Washington and Adams Townships.  Has anyone leased recently, or had any lease offers?

You should try EQT Production Company. They are a Pennsylvania based company and are very active in and around pennsylvania. Our friends in Green County PA have a horizontal well drilled by EQT and are extremely happy with their success as well as their monthly royalty check. The only leasing going on in Cambria Co. is in Blacklick and Barr Twp. $300 - $500 per acre for a five year lease.
Atlas Energy is doing the leasing.

The Loretto landowner's group is focused on the central part of Cambria County. We have 20,000+ acres and are engaged with a few gas companies. Anybody who owns non-leased ground in Allegheny and surrounding townships is welcomed. Our approach has been focusing on the continuity of ground versus quantity. We have a meeting set for 4/19 in Loretto. Penn State (Tom Murphy) will be present along with 2 other speakers.
