A new report showing the Marcellus production results:

This brings me to a place 1.5 years ago,  long time GMSers will remember, Chip Northrup. This anti kept stating on this site over and over "the play is uneconomic, it is Ponzi Scheme" . Recall that? Oh how I wish Chip still visits occasionally. If so, Chip , we told you so. This man still voices his biased opinions in his blog and in many venues. You are now discredited, amen to that!

Great

I like the part that in Ohio it is OIL and NG in WVA and PA.  Also notice the statement about the decline curve of the PA wells is not like TX and the Bakken.

I always enjoyed, with laughter, the visuals he created that went along with his garbage presentations. Cut and Paste doesn't work so good when doctoring actual pictures to fit your storyline. The one with the water trucks that were floating above the road is a classic!!!

We haven't heard of much interest in Marcellus in eastern Ohio. All the talk has been Utica. Does anyone have a current map of where the oil window in Ohio may be?
Ohio Land Management has an noperations geologist in the permian basin Tx an ohioan who says we should be investing in the north and western oil part of the Utica .
