Permalink Reply by craig on July 4, 2012 at 11:08am I understand that over here in Beaver County Pa that recently Mason Dixon has cut their work force to 20 or so folks. I believe they had close to 60 working at the time. It appears that they are only working on filling in the gaps for the sites they want to drill in the not too distant future. Of course the vast majority of the land is leased already anyhow.
This is not necessarily bad news. The land they need now is owned by someone that doesn't, or didn't want to sign in the past. Leasing should continue on an as needed basis I believe. What the bonus and such will be remains to be seen.
