I see what people are complaining about. If you live in a hot area everything has changed except. If you do not own minerals then the only thing that hasn't changed is your pocketbook. It is dangerous to drive. The landscape traffic housing prices......everything.

I am getting compensated for our minerals but it would be tough to deal with all of this and get nothing. These people need a voice and should get something for their troubles. Alaskans get a check every year for their energy as long as you lived there for awhile. I'm not saying this is the answer but something needs to be corrected. What's even worse is there value of there house and land will fall apart. Would you buy a house land without minerals in the middle of this.....NO WAY. They loss everything and get nothing in return. That needs to be fixed. I want to make a lot of money butnot at the expense of my neighbors.

Buyer beware for sure. I learned a valuable lesson. For future purchases.
Steven. Were is your property located? Why did your neighbors get leased and your did not? Your question explains all the posts on this topic. There are a lot of questions and very little answers.

This discussion can almost be about any business that ever made money. Look at all the jobs that went overseas to a cheaper labor force, should they compensate everyone that lost jobs not only then but now. How about the poker player who wins it all, should they give the money back to all the players? How about your playing a slot machine all day and you decide to leave and the next fellow comes along and puts money in it and wins a enormous jackpot should he share that with all the previous players? Like I said the list goes on and on, and I am sure after this gas is done there will be some other thing that someone will think it is all unfair. I know I am still waiting for my gold nugget from the gold rush days.

My heart goes out to all the people who have gotten off their "butts" and made something of themselves in life, only to have the "Redistributionist in Chief" tax them more for their efforts.............
