Was an interesting trip. We all stood in the pouring rain and didn't seem to bother anyone unlike the opposition, they didn't want to get wet. Despite the rain, spirits were high and you could feel the energy generated by the crowd in anticatation of the speakers.

Crouch, Libous and others spoke about job creation and opportunities that present itself to the local communities, the counties and state. and urged NYDEC to approve the sdGEIS so landowners and local communities can start to benefit from the exploration of the Marcellus. The group started shouting for Paterson to appear but of course he didn't.

I noticed some of the opposition was infiltrating our ralley seeking out people and asking them questions that the responses would obviously have supported the anti position, several members wanted him to interview them but he seemed to disappear when confronted. Later after looking at pictures of the Anti posted this same person is seen holding a anti-fracing sign. Its bad enough they use misinformation to further their agenda but then to try and disrupt a peaceful rally by infiltrating it and speading their corrupt message, they'll stop at nothing to preserve their playground.

After the rally we all headed inside, had to walk through the plaza to get to the buses and passed the antis. Assemblymen Couch was talking to supporters when some anti's approached him and started to confront Couch on his gas drilling position. Several supporters of Couch's position responded to the misinformation with facts while this indivigual tried to defend his position using the misguided information he obtained from the obstructionist groups. He soon realised he couldn't support his position against facts and left.

The rally was very positive in addressing the needs of New York landowners who are struggling to keep their head above water with ever increasing tax burdens. This rally is the first step in asserting our rights as New Yorkers and Americans to develope our resources that benefit the very people trying to stop drilling.

Despite the rain and muddy conditions we showed Albany that we the landowners of the southern tier are a force to be recond with come Nov 2.

Support candidates that support drilling, Nov 2.
Thanks for that great report.
Thank goodness for level headed New York State folks, and Marcellus supporters. That are stating the facts about honest, and ethical drilling & well completion methods. That don't mind getting wet!
here is the results form the rally, a minority group of politicians is trying to screw everyonoe that does not live in NYC.. A massive writting campaign and calling campaign is required here
