Just curious...... but I just received a letter from H&M Land and Mineral, Inc (newly formed company in PA) to purchase my mineral rights in belmont county for $8,000 per acre.  I also talked to the landman and he said they were focusing on the Smith-Goshen area. 

 

Anyone else in the S-G group receiving phone calls/letters from this company?

Hello Al something to consider when contemplating selling a partial interest of you're mineral rights.
It's called a Parition suit, Google it.

Yes I have talked with them ... they appear to be wanting to Buy The Rights as in Selling vs. leasing which is what we have at the moment with Magnum Hunter. Who are you leasing from currently?  I have done a little research and was curious myself on a company called Antero.  They seem to be a major player in the game?  Anyone know anything about Magnum Hunter or Antero?   My thoughts on Selling vs Leasing ... do not Sell your mineral rights.   Suzy
