"Ohio Land Management Negotiates with Shell, Chesapeake, and Hilcorp"

Congratulations OLM!  we have successfully done what no other entity has accomplished in Mahoning and Lawrence county, we have successfully negotiated leases between our landowners and Shell, Chesapeake and Hilcorp.  Our small team has now more experience with managing land for landowners and interphasing with three oil giants than any firm in Mahoning county.  We have found our expertise in assembling smaller parcels into acreage in urban and suburban areas.  I believe our strong cognizance comes from brainstorming on GMS.

Any chance you could spill that over into Portage County?

Moe,  For the past year, we have been trying to get interest for 86 acres that one of our landowners farmed for decades.  No luck, doesn't seem that active there yet, I know there are wells there.

What a great position to be in!

Having them ALL in the game at the same time is a dream come true.

Ok, now we all need you guys.

Impressive to say the least!

What kind of terms did you negotiate with them?

Please post some details about this company? People, Contact info?

There seems to be nothing online.

Ohio Land Management is an old sleepy property management company in Mahoning and Trumbull.  If you need help, call Atty. Chevlen 330 207 0235, he is the General Counsel.

JDM, the terms everyone is getting relative to their geographic area.  Shell in PA was the same as others, Chespaeake was $5000 to $5800, even 2250, for desperate landowners.  Hilcorp is flat $5K, but consistent and takes any pieve as long as in there buy area.

Did you negotiate the $5000 to $5800 with CHK recently? What was the royalty? Where is Hillcorp buy area?  Just trying to decide what to do with our land- I've been dealing with CHK thru Mason Dixon and I don't like the way they do things so I'm debating on a landgroup. Thanks for the info!

Where is your property?

Mahoning county- beaver township....close to Rt 46

Hilcorp stopped leasing there awhile back, I never could understand, except they probably backed away from CHK and HBP's dominance.  Yes, CHK is known to play games BIG time.  JDM, we need to start feeling Consol out, I hear they are in here already.  Are there a lot of acreage around you that is already leased and how many acres are you talking about?

Everyone around me is leased. We have 7.76 acres. There is also a well permit for CHK right down the street....supposedly plans for 2 others in same area.
