Had the opportunity to tour part of the pipe line (by invitation).  Spoke with a foreman on one of the job sites.  Pipeline between the plants is in sections.  First section goes from the Hickory Bend cryogenic plant in Springfield township, aka TAR 1, is twenty (20) inches in diameter, is complete and tested. The second section, TAR 2, is actually sixteen (16) inches in diameter (earlier I had thought it was only 12 inches and I have been corrected) and has not made it all the way to Kensington yet.  Apparently the machine being used to bore under the Columbiana County Prison is stuck, and has been since 2014-07-28, underneath the jail. The sections of TAR 2 they have been able to complete are being Hydro tested.  The current estimation for completion is October 2014, due to the delay with the machine getting stuck.

TAR 1 and TAR 2 make their connection in Salem Township, Columbiana County.

With any luck they can get the machine un-stuck and the pipeline complete before the snow flies.

Just what we need.....A tunnel making machine "stuck" under a PRISON!! LOL!
