Shale Development; It's The Environmentally Friendly Thing To Do !

Even the Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC) of the  UN agrees with this statement. The IPCC credits the increased use of NG due to hydraulic fracturing with reduced crabon dioxide emissions in the U.S.

The increased use of Natural gas, for the generation of electricity, has made the air in the U.S. cleaner.

U.S. emissions of carbon dioxide and other toxic materials is at it's lowest level in 20 years. This is primarily due to the increased use of clean burning natural gas.

The unfortunate truth for environmentalists that oppose shale development is that the combination of horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing has produced an abundant amount of inexpensive natural gas.

The ODNR is implementing new rules intended to reduce/eliminate fugitive gas emissions (leaks).

More proof that shale development can be environmentally friendly.

In an extremely quick response to the "earthquake" in Poland Twsp the ODNR has designed new regulation with regard to seismic activity. We should be proud of the folks at the ODNR.
