Statoil - Anyone else not receive their February Royalty Check?

The majority of those in our unit have not received their February royalty checks from Statoil - unit is in Springfield Township, Bradford County.  Have contacted Statoil, but of course no response.  Is anyone else experiencing this same problem?

We had one well drilled in 2012 and then two more in 2013. Stat was alright at first then after the second and third were drilled they didn't pay us for those until 11 months later. Chesapeake paid us for those after 4 months. When I questioned stat they said it wasn't in there system yet and when it got in there they would send division orders. They said they would not send check until division orders were returned. However when they sent the first check for the first well the division orders came 3 weeks after we got the check. Chesapeake takes a lot of money for deductions but I can always get someone on the phone. They all play games and you know they are making plenty without ripping us off.

TOOK US 15 MONTHS TO GET OUR FIRST CHECK FROM CHK.

THEY MADE EXCUSES THAT I NEVER HEARD BEFORE, BUT WE DID GET IT

WITHOUT INTEREST OF COURSE,  LOL.

THEY HAVE A MININIMUM AMOUNT THEY WILL PAY.

THEY SOLD MAJOR ASSETS IN WVA TO SOUTHWESTERN BUT THAT WAS EARLY FEB.15

I finally got a reply from the royalty dept. They say we didn't get a check because our account shows a debt, this being due to them paying the wrong percentage.

YES THIS HAPPENED TO US ALSO.  TALKED TO THE OWNERS RELATIONS DEPT AFTER MAKING 3 PHONE CALLS AND SENDING THEM A FAX ABOUT NOT RECIEVING MY MARCH CHECK AND THEY TOLD ME THE SAME THING.  NO CHECKS UNTIL ALL OF THE DEPT FROM THERE MISTAKE IS PAID BACK.  THIS MEANS WE DON'T RECIEVE A CHECK UNTIL THAT IS  COMPLETE.  IF YOU CALL OWNER RELATIONS DEPT THEY WILL SEND YOU A COPY OF WHAT YOU WILL BE PAYING BACK TO STATOIL.  MINE WAS $12,255.39. THEY WENT BACK TO 10/31/2012. I HAVE AN APPOINTMENT WITH MY LAWYER.   IT IS GOING TO TAKE ME A YEAR OR MORE TO PAY THIS BACK.  THEY SHOULD HAVE TO SUCK UP THERE OWN MISTAKES.

I checked back on ours and there was only one month where the percentage was wrong. Furthermore the amount was not a large amount, it was maybe only a couple hundred from the normal. The volume the had that month I believe want accurate either ( too low ). Thought we would get a check the following month but no. If they don't send something this month I may need to look for a lawyer also. I looked all the way back to beginning and only that one months percentage was wrong. They better be sending a check this month. I find it to be a very convienent thing for them to have paid the wrong percentage that one month. The figures should already be in the system I would think. I just think they are playing some sort of game here.

I would just like to know how they figured this out.  How do we know  the percentage they over paid?  They told me that there would not be a letter to explain these errors, that they were just wrong figures that was sent to them from the field.....come on -  do they think every one is stupid ?

In the email they sent me it said it was my owner % of the unit that was wrong and when our debt was paid to them we would get statement showing everything. But they do not mention the fact that the production amounts are not right for that month. There is surely something fishy going on. I can tell the production doesn't seem right as we have another gas company and going by what they paid on for that month stat isn't showing enough volume. I don't think we should owe them so much that we didn't get a check 2 months in a row. It seems like they have not been paying people from a few states. The stories seem similar but not the same. I haven't had the time to look into this deeper yet hopefully in the next 2 days I will get time. The only thing I have checked so far is I calculated our decimal % of the unit, which has been correct with them until the Jan 2015 check for Nov royalties. It is hard to figure out what production was but I usually compare the volumes of both companies in the previous statements. Now in March the other company had some low volumes on 2 of the wells so I called them they said that there was fracking going on nearby so they had to shut wells down. I never heard of this before, hope it is not more bs.

Message from STATOIL - you were inadvertently overpaid on a previous check or checks and the overpayment is being recouped from your current revenue.  It will take a couple of months to recoup the overpayment, so you may not get another check until April 2015.

Message from Landowner - so why wouldn't this be reflected in the February Statement as you must know how large this "alleged overpayment" is and at a annual 42% rate deduction rate I struggle to believe this.

STATOIL Response::   You were inadvertently overpaid on a previous check or checks and the overpayment is being recouped from your current revenue.  It will take a couple of months to recoup the overpayment, so you may not get another check until April 2015.
