"T Shirt Fundraising for GMS"

"I have an idea."

What if we here in this greatest energy-solidarity- produce T shirts with "catchy' sayings to raise money for GMS?  I have the T shirt company down the street from me and we can start by coming up with "neat" verbage, any ideas?

Here's a start:

"The other Wet Gas"

"Got Gas?"

"No Gas for You!"

" Green Natural Gas"

"I Love the smell of Fracking in the morning"

I'll have more in the morning when my mind clears :')

GMS is a privately held company.  Also, they have other websites for other shale plays as well (www.gohaynesvilleshale.com).  They sell advertising space on their websites to not only pay for the website/webhosting, but also to make money for themselves as well.  Why are you willingly rushing to provide a source of "fundrasing" revenue for them with no benefit ($$$) to you?  Sounds pretty stupid to me.  I've got all the ideas listed below for "neat" verbage, and am already in the process of licensing and trademarking them.

Jasper. A privately held company? Ha. I guess if a husband/wife team constitutes that, I guess we are guilty! First, we are mineral owners who want people educated. Go for it Jasper and make your millions...

I like the idea of t-shirts because it spreads the GMS name and helps to educate other landowners and serves as a source of pride for our members. We have been able to keep membership free due to those who advertise and/or donate and I am thankful for each and every person who does so... 

When we were first approached we were clueless with regards to leasing as were many others. What began as one person starting a site on a whim has grown into 4 sites. GoHaynesvilleShale.com, GoMarcellusShale.com, EagleFordForum.com and ShaleBiz.com. Soon after we started GHS, our family in PA told me they were having similar challenges with finding information. So, we launched GMS. As discussions on plays naturally start appearing I take a look and see if it warrants a dedicated website to further the discussions, this is what brought about EagleFordForum.com. ShaleBiz.com is a market place site that is just another tool.

Alrighty!  We now have the blessings of our esteem GMS founder to promote ourselves offline and to retaliate against the occupyers and the anti-frackers.  If we see this Tshirt project to fruition, we can be proud displayers of beliefs as landlords to the energy giants, provider of the cleanest abundant energy to the world!  We can wear our dogma right on our chest. "Give me gas or give me death!" (did I say that right?)

So let's start wrapping the slogan saying up and come forth with the winning Tshirt.  My suggestion is"

1.  "Go Frack Yourself!"  (art work should be an oil rig)

2.  The GMS logo

3.  "No Gas for You!"  (artwork can be Fang throwing a gas stove out of a fracker's house)

Folks, let's narrow the sellection down and get our shirts done for the summer, then maybe hats, sweat shirts, bumper stickers?

Fang,  I just now came up with the character of you throwing a gas stove out of a frakers house "No gas for you!), i'm still laughing.............:')

a caption on your character can be landowner and caption on house can be antifracker.

I think drill baby drill would be the best seller. I like the logo for gomarcellus but here in Ohio it's the Utica. I think the word marcellus leans more toward PA while drill baby drill fits all three states effected right now by the drilling. IMO.
I can't wear go frack yourself since I have young kids but I think it's fun and I think "no gas for you" seems either mean or political. I know the reference is from Seinfeld but the younger group may miss the meaning. Again IMO :0)
Drill Baby Drill with either a rig up or even better showing nice green trees in the background showing we do not believe this drilling will cause death to our surroundings.
And of course I still like "America's got gas" :0)
I wonder though if Drill Baby Drill has been copy right protected since it was used during the 2008 election

People of the shale!  GMS is onboard with our grassroots efforts to design and produce our own "Frankland" Tshirts, Wow! , stop me, it just keeps coming out.  I like that word "Frackland"   Anyhoot, let's close ranks and get two prototypes made, our own and limited at first.  Last call for gasahol, put forth your ideas so we can stand up, "I am somebody"
