The landowners that had to wait are in a better position then those who signed early.

I know many landowners are discouraged at the slow process of being leased. The same goes with pipelines, but if you think about it, you are positioned better then the rest of us. You've had all this extra time to gain knowledge about the whole process which will benefit you. Pipeline prices have increased. In a way, I wish it was all just happening to me now. I know so much more about this whole process then a few years back.

Wow, still missing the point.

Try reading again.

I agree. Saudia Arabia is not defending the price of oil by reducing their output. Perhaps it is to deprive ISIS or they look at a declining world market price and are selling as much as they can while they can. Europe and Asia might have entered into a recession

I agree with you! Don't worry about the people that are here that try to negate what you say! They have hidden agenda's . the O&G company's are here to stay for along time! What you are asking for is very reasonable. And should be expected . Let's put it this way Shell sold all these leases with the knowledge that they now have all the methane that they need to run their new HUGH cracker plant! Now and for many many yrs to come! So to all landowners stay your course the'll give you what you want!!
Hope I get a response. Own royalties and mineral rights . Signed a lease last year with my relatives. The landowners got part of their signing bonus. We havent gotten anything. . The energy company says there is no time frame when we might get our royalties. Not interested in selling but is there any hope or encouraging words for the royalty owners. Thanks. DEBBIE
