Just curious...

I am in Liberty township and a few months ago got an offer to buy my royalties for 1500 to 1800 per acre, but they would do a more in-depth look if I was serious which "mite change the numbers" slightly....even tho I am not drilled or receiving any royalties ..talked to a landsman rite b4 I contacted them and he advised caution as there will be "significant" activity in my area in the "near future"....how about it, anybody else get an offer or hear anything or see any activity here in Tioga Co. ?

Several tri axle dump trucks are traveling to Painter well today.  Pipeline has not been connected together as of a couple of hours ago as it crosses under Broughton Hollow road.  I expect to see a booster pump appear any time now at that location.

dump trucks are still moving to Painter well site as of yesterday. Pipeline looks to be in place but all sections still not connected as far as I can see.

I think there was some sort of update or change on this site.  No new postings for several days.

A couple or three years ago an oil well was drilled on the Marty Heylers  farm  just off route 49.  It produced a small amount of oil I guess. A small tank collect the resulting produce.

A couple days ago a derrick was erected and I understand that the well was being capped off.. Does anyone know more about this well?

There was not much of a pad there. More like a water well drilling site on the gravel deposit just above the swampy area.  I don't recall any name or sign erected.  A few pipes and valves and a tank was set there a few years ago. A mobile derrick was brought in and erected a few ago for the purpose of capping the well or so I was told by a couple of folks.

Does anyone know if the drill rig is back running at the Kinnan pad ?

Is SWEPI re-visiting Jackson Twp along 549? For what?

There was (also) a pad done on Pony Hill last fall.

Thank you Ann Ticopa for this Posting.

Anyone else been contacted by the wind farm folks? (I Googled them, but didn't return the call.)

Afraid of a little competition?  If SWEPI et al aren't renewing fosil fuel leases, why shouldn't landowners look into their options.
