I hope everyone takes a moment to say a prayer ( or a moment of silence) for the family of the oil/gas employee of Rice energy that lost his life yesterday. It just goes to show that these jobs are dangerous and with as many people working on these wells. accidents can happen. Safety of workers is on everyone's mind .......these people work long hours and the weather has held them up lately, I hope the companies put safety of their workers a high priority and every measure is taken, so no other families have to face losing a loved one.

What happened?

Not sure Philip it happened in Belmont. Can't remember exactly what happened to him but saw it on a news channel. Google WTRF TV out of Steubenville. The stories probably on there sight

The news reported that he was crushed by a piece of equipment, while working in Smith township, Belmont County....also last week a pipeliner that was cutting trees (Monroe county) had a tree fall on him.. He is in the hospital with multiple injuries but thankfully he is still alive. Dangerous work for sure,

Prayers are being sent.....
