So is the senior center

The email says:

"Saturday 9/24 at 7pm will be held at Centerville Community Senior Center in Centerville"

I think the Senior Center is actually in Jacobsburg. The Fire Hall is in Centerville.

It appears that Belmont is becomming the hot county. Maybe the southern part of the county is oil rich? Heard that yesterday, but don't know if it is only a rumor. Big boys are certainly moving in.

I think the second article down is helpful in understanding the value of your mineral rights if you are still unleased Not a bad sight to exploe.

Good summary article on Ohio's Utica play and the O&G companies involved.

Fracking on hold Waiting for results of studies on impact of drilli...

I wonder how this will affect leasing activity in Ohio?

Big news this AM. Consol has entered into a JV with Hess Oil for half of their Ohio Utica Shale Play. Hess is paying $6,000 per acre for the prime acreage in the wet zone (Harrison,Jefferson,Belmont,Guernsey totaling 79,849 acres). Go to the website, click on Investor Relations tab, then click on Presentations to analysts. There is an excellent map of the play and Consols' acreage.
