Pipeline right of way payments

How is reimbursement for right of way for pipeline construction figured? Is it by the foot and does the size pipe installed enter into the equasion. Melvin.

Hi All,Anadarko just offered us $15 per ft they said 3 lines(1hi.,1low &water) we told them must pay for each line,said they need it for our well&wells on next door land. We are in Cogan House tsw. We also are next to state game lands they can't drill on. We must stay togeter to get the price UP. Good luck to all. P.S.When other gas is put in our pipes on our land is that a trunk line.

What number per foot should we ask for 50' permant right away, 16" collection main, and a 12" Waterline going through our property. THe number the offered is extremely low in my book. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Troy...don't know a price in your area...but just saw your request for help...here is a link to Sullivan county discussion on pipeline contracts...on the first page there is a contract pdf that John Yonkin posted of Eric Camps' sample pipeline contract...you might want to view that and the discussion.
