Do you have contact info for the $3250, 17% gross offer?
Comment by Stark County Land Owner on December 20, 2011 at 1:39pm Nate, I never said that amount was in Stark Co. But I know for a fact that in surrounding counties landowners are getting those terms. The most I've heard currently in Stark is $3250 and 17% Gross.
Comment by jeannie on December 20, 2011 at 1:18pm Does anyone know what osnaburg twp, is getting now? I know they started at $200 and acre than $350 than $500, $750 and last was $1000 for 5 yrs. more for 10 yrs. They sure played a game and would like to know what it is up to now. Thanks
Comment by amos alexander on December 20, 2011 at 12:18pm im not really for signing a lease for drilling but everyone around me is signing up and i figure they are going to come very close to me and mayble i should sign and just get the royalites.i only have 7 acres and they said they would not put a well on it and the well they intend to drill is a mile away, what do you guys think.
Where in Stark county are they getting $3850-$5800?
Comment by Stark County Land Owner on December 19, 2011 at 4:01pm AMOS OMG NO!! That's highway robbery. Others are getting anywhere from $3,850 - $5,800 per acre and 18-19% GROSS Royalties. Tell them to sweeten the pot or don't sign. You're in the driver seat, don't let them bullshit you and make you think you're not.
Comment by amos alexander on December 19, 2011 at 1:17pm my property is in a combined oil and gas lease.i have been contacted by chesapeake energy that they have bought the deep drilling rights from the current lessor, they said they need me to sign a lease with them for the deep mineral rights since the orginal lease does not have them in it.they are offering 12 percent royalty with no sign on bonus.does this seem right and has anyone heard of this , i need help.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
