Yea, there could be testing done there by another company that didn't report or offer there info. Plus it looks like those maps are pretty dated. Check out on YouTube "seismic testing national road licking county 6/29/2012"

The lines cover the Sensibaugh well at 4 different directions and there is another heavy concentration at the Harstine property.

Fellas, have you ever checked out the site evansgeo.com? Click on brokered data and then Ohio and then your county. It shows where seismic testing has been done. There are a few lines done in Ashland. If you check it out please let me know if the Devon well is on one of those seismic lines. I bet it is close. If you go to Licking or Knox you can see the extremely heavy seismic data at the Devon well here.

Shallower than that.  The 3,940 extends into the Trenton, so I'd imagine it gets plugged back 100' or so and they'd use that as the kick off.

Marcus,

At what approximate depth was the Sensibaugh 1H kicked off into the shale?  Is it 3,940', or several hundred feet shallower?  Thanks.

BGJ,

I voted for Kasich in 2010.  I will not be making that mistake again.

Jodi, those are redundant permits.  They are all for the Sensibaugh 1H.  If there were two proposed wells they'd have different acreages, depths and have a different name, i.e. Sensibaugh 3H (or 2H, or whatever).  The 1P is for the vertical at a TD of 3,940' and the 1H is for 7,481'.  That means a 3,541' lateral.  The two Harstine permits are for the one well that was cored.  They get a vertical permit and a horizontal permit.  For some reason Sensibaugh has two permits for both vertical and horizontal.

I tried to do that via my phone.
Go to ODNR Well Data Base
Reports
Plug and Permit
Enter Devon under operator name and Knox under county.
You should get 4 Sensibaugh permits and 2 Harstine permits.
I suppose this could be an error, but like I said the talk around here is there are two wells there or there will be.

sorry, that seems to be a bad link.
