A link to what I think defines the various zones of the Utica rather well - especially the Northern.

Check out the map on Slide No. 3.

There's a lot of good info. at the referenced discussion - I think everybody in Ashtabula County ought to read.

A lot of critics too - but in the final analysis I think positives prevail.
PS :  Had some trouble with the link in this reply to my post and had to re-do it.  Apologies.

All as it always is, IMHO

Since I've been having some difficulty transferring files as attachments this reply attempts to upload a copy of the map only as a 'zipped' attachment.

This one finally worked for me too.

Looks like  I have to zip any pdf files that I send along if I want to open them in GMS using Internet Explorer.

Why not - everything else continues to get more complicated.

Hope these zipped files open for all readers too.

Above a link to an article discussing Cryogenic (Waterless) Fracturing that may be just what the Oil Window and Tight Shale areas of the Utica needs.

What do you folks think ?

(This one also copied from the General Forum post for easy reference / reading)
