Range Resources (RRC +3.4%) sets its 2015 capital spending budget at $1.3B, an 18% Y/Y decrease, while expecting to continue to deliver Y/Y production growth of 20%-25% due to improving capital efficiencies from its activities in the Marcellus Shale.RRC also says its Utica/Point Pleasant well in Pennsylvania achieved an average 24-hour test rate of 59M cf/day; RRC believes the initial production rate equating to a 10.9M cf/day per 1K ft. of lateral is a record for any horizon drilled in the Appalachian Basin and the highest IP rate of any Utica well.
Separately, CEO Jeff Ventura will add Chairman to his title beginning Jan. 1, replacing John Pinkerton.

What?!? Holy Moly!! :-))
Amazing - Thanks Gary!

YEAH !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is there a location for this MONSTER well?

Claysville, PA (Donegal Township) in Washington County - Range Resources Utica Well Flare on Hicks Road - Claysville Sportmans Club https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=psTelfpdxpk

This is cool - you did the same thing I did, drive along that road in the dark and get pictures.   Your video is better though - my son said, "It looks like a giant flame thrower pointed at the sky".      You could see the glow as far away as Washington, PA.   And eastbound on I-70, when you came across that curve from West Alexander to Claysville, it was just THERE like a huge torch.   Some liberal tree-huggers driving through were probably crapping their pants.

That is INTENSE!! No wonder Range warned the neighbors about the loud roar that soon would be! Shook the neighborhood I'm sure.
