Are there any good lawyers?

Seriously though, I do not have one to recommend. Look around and friend up folks here that might give you a lead. Good Luck!

They are flaring the Rolling Acres well tonight(12/15/2011), possibly for awhile. It is worth a drive out and a look see and to hear it!

Tammy,

I signed one acre in South Beaver about two months ago for $3,000 per acre and 17%. You should be able to do as good or better. Just don't sign the lease  they give you, you need to use some addendums to the lease to protect from some of the things that need attention. You will have a hard time trying to get the first lease nulled, however it is worth talking to a gas attorney(a real one, not your average attorney) to see if it can be done. Good Luck!

I own 3 acres in beaver county, my parents own over 80.  6.5 years ago someone signed my parents to a lease that they received nothing for, I know this happend to alot of people.  Recently someone from mason dixon said that our 3 acres was included in that lease.. I had to inform them that they were wrong, and that my husband and i bought the property from my parent 7 years ago, before the lease was signed.  Now someone else from Mason Dixon is coming to talk to us about signing a lease.  Couple things,  1 - what kind of offer should i expect.  2- I think my parents got screwed, and i think that the lease should be voided because it never stated the parcel numbers, and included property that they did not own..

Any thoughts

Chesapeak approached me 3 years ago and offered 300/12%. I told them to come back when they are serious. Range is offering 2500/17% out here in Hanover Twp. I just heard now Chesapeak is offering 3100/18% so I'm trying to find this landman and see what that's about.
