Mitchell, I'm interested in finding all landowners who leased with a "Middleman" who sold those leases to another company. I could use some coaching on how to find the data without going to the assessors office.

Here's my email address and I have a free phone after 7pm M-F and on weekends. If you have free longdistance cell phone or landline, it would be one way for you to walk me through this. Or email directions would work. email me for phone number, I don't want all the girls calling me so I keep it confidential.

I also have a lot of insights on what we have experienced in Ohio to discuss.

Ron, I don't think you can avoid the county building. Your best chance is to go there and locate the BCL (Bonds Contracts and Leases) index books. Then just start digging. The information you are wanting is public knowledge. You just have to no the names of the middlemen and go from there. A few days in the records room will yield you allot of info. This kind of thing is really not online yet.

Mitchell,  I'm going to place adds in local papers for landowners to join us here to increase our landowner numbers. I was wondering if you have a free weekly magazines like we do called the Bargain Hunter.

I have a list of papers in the Huntington area but I will need to call all of them to find out which ones are free. There is no sense in paying to help other landowners out when you can do it for free.

The Craigs List add that I placed has been in the Southern WV CL for a week with no increase in our numbers. The add is effectively lost in with all the for sale adds.
