No, but they have every road surrounding the Smithmyer well site flagged and are currently doing the testing along every road in that area.  There was a good article in the Altoona Mirror about this, google it and take a look.  They said Chief is investing $12,500/mile to do the testing.  Hopefully the data results will bring some money to some good ole people in the area!!

Yes, I agree about the whole seismic testing on individuals properties.  Chief's testing that I previously was talking about is and has been taking place all on the roads in by the Smithmyer well site in Clearfield township.  The article said they are using a "thumper" that will retrieve data signals to a computer and give an output of gas pockets.  This is all I know, nothing more.  This could all be BS or it could be ligit.  Anyways, I have not seen nor heard of any landowners having any testing or anything else done in this area.
