Keith The party will start when We get a lease and some cash. Nothing to party about now.
I agree with Ken ....a lease and up front cash ....but patience is a virtue .....hopefully a P-A-R-T-Y in 2010
Alex I agree , but I have been waiting almost 1/1/2 yrs. In the next 6 months we need a party.
We do indeed need patience. Some people are foolishly signing $1000 leases with no protections. We'll benefit greatly from seeing how much gas the new wells will bring. As soon as they start flowing, leasing activity will skyrocket. Also, the big players -- e.g. Exxon, Total, etc -- are starting to get interested in the Marcellus and will be looking for large tracts of unleased land. That means BIG money. But they're just getting started. Another thing is that nat gas prices are still really low, but going much higher. They've broken connection with oil prices now and are moving independently. We could very well see a very lucrative lease this year. The trick is to be patient and don't jump the gun and sign a bad lease.
Thanks Tom I will be patience and wait. I hope 2010 is the year. I'm not a young man like you anymore.
Does anyone have information or confirmation regarding the William's Company signing acreage in Columbia County in the Townships of Sugarloaf and Jackson Twp. Word is $4000 an acre.
