Permalink Reply by Kathleen on April 13, 2012 at 8:58pm That dog would be mine. If you think she is big you should have come by 6 months ago when I had 2 over 110lbs. She is not as big as the ones in my profile pic. They could easily down a person. There are theives and suspected murderers to the east and west, real close. If I didn't have free running dogs a lot more of my stuff would be missing. As time goes on the criminals will figure out the people around these wells have money. The only sign of wealth I can't hide is that swimming pool.
My place looks like does for reasons I will not disclose. The field you speak of is my adjoining neighbor. He told me last week just wait a few months and watch what happens. He also said don't worry, you are included. Those stakes and ribbons go back hundreds of yards into another property out of sight from the road. I would say it is 500 yards easy until I can't see anymore stakes after they cross into Hoppels pasture to the south east.
I should add here that 12 years ago no one but those who had to, drove by. 5 cars a day, maybe. This was the last stretch of unpaved road in Center township. Even after they said the whole twp was paved.Your car scraped the road at times with frost or onset of winter, sometimes impassible for a car.
Now there is a woman driving by on a lawnmower. A guy on a bicycle, the first one I have ever seen just came by. Imagine what he just thought of that rottweiler? 4 wheelers, ect. Some areas are not used to scrutiny and others coming into the area will have to deal with it.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
