I originally signed with Chesapeake. This is hard to follow but Total invested in Chesapeake to my understanding.
Permalink Reply by Finnbear on August 13, 2012 at 10:45am Total entered a joint venture with Chesapeake in Jan 2012 and bought a 25% interest in Chesapeake's Ohio leases. Total did not buy out Chesapeake.

Permalink Reply by Corrho on August 13, 2012 at 12:14pm Good explanation, that is pretty much what I wanted to day but didn't take the time. I knew they didn't buy Chesapeake out. We have a well pad directly across from us on 558 (Weaver Pad) they are listed with Total also. As I understand they are on hold until things get resolved with Brinker Storage field. I think this is getting away from the original post but I am a little confused as to where it belongs.
