Total bought out all of ches. Guernsey county leases recently also. Their a french company , that's all I know so far

I am in the Brinker storage field in Salem Township, I am one of the people that owns their deep rights.  Total appears on my lease hold.  I originally signed with Chesapeake.  This is hard to follow but Total invested in Chesapeake to my understanding.

Total entered a joint venture with Chesapeake in Jan 2012 and bought a 25% interest in Chesapeake's Ohio leases. Total did not buy out Chesapeake.

Good explanation, that is pretty much what I wanted to day but didn't take the time.  I knew they didn't buy Chesapeake out.  We have a well pad directly across from us on 558 (Weaver Pad) they are listed with Total also.  As I understand they are on hold until things get resolved with Brinker Storage field.  I think this is getting away from the original post but I am a little confused as to where it belongs.
