The gas ownership of every lateral bore is extensively researched prior to any drilling.  No company would knowingly trespass in a drilling a bore and risk the court sanctions.

I Have recently spoke to one of the workers that works on the drilling rigs. He told me that they are drilling about a mile down, and up to 2 miles horizontal. They have to be going under somebodies property that they are not paying for. Has anybody looked into this! Thanks Craig T. Pistner

I just received an offer from MDS Energy Company out of Kittanning, PA. The lease agreement was not clear on how much they were offering per acre. Is there anyone out there who has received offers in Elk County and what are they offering?

Saw an ad in the local paper for Snyder Bros. Inc. out of Kitanning. Said they're looking for leases. Anyone know anything about this company?

The company is Dawson and they are from Midland ,Texas.They are doing 3-D seismic imaging and were hired by EQT out of Pittsburgh.
