Has anyone been approached by Bluegrass  Pipeline? Was wondering how their experience with Bluegrass was.

I haven't heard of Blue Ridge. I've heard of Blue Racer and Bluegrass. What township are you located in ?

I'm sorry. I meant Bluegrass. We live in Franklin township.

Yes, i have dealt with bluegrass.. First they approached me with an open ended vague BS agreement to survey my property.. I didnt sign it, then i caught them surveying anyhow on my gamecams... After my neighbor refused their route for 32 per foot, they called me and offered me some " per acre disturbed" rate.. I got my atty involved, then they went behind our back amd tried to call my business partner, which knew everything anyhow. .. Then then offered around 50 per foot, but my buddy in franklin twp got over 90 per foot.. Yes, absolutely true amd comfirmed...got an upfront payment and rest to be paid in a year... We said no to 50 per foot, as they wanted a direct route thru middle of our property instead of a property line route, amd we knew over 90 per foot was already done... Then they changed landmen and went around our atty and tried to call me directly.. Wanted us to negotiate, after we already tried different routes and prices per foot 3 times... Now they went back to my neighbor and went around his atty and called him directly instead of thru his representation. My experience with bluegrass is typical of what contracted slicky sales people would do.. Incidently, my buddy that got over 90 a foot started with an offer of 24 bucks.. Then he got his atty involved... Bluegrass will be on your property forever.. I am all for progess, but these guys will have an asset forever on your land pumping billions of dollars thru it.. If they would just negotiate in "good faith" instead of playing games, they would be much better off.. Basically.. Not a good experience

Below is a link to a fascinating article in Pennsylvania Outdoor News about a report presented by the agency’s chief deer biologist, Chris Rosenberry.  The article points out an interesting correlation between a buried pipeline and a doe's reluctance to cross the pipeline as determined by a large set of GPS data points from the radio-collared deer.  Any landowner who also hunts or generally enjoys the wildlife therein should also consider the possible implications this information might mean when negotiating a ROW or easement as part of the "damages" associated with such an agreement.  Food for thought.

Why didn’t the doe cross the pipeline?
