I drove by the buell well this morning to check it out. I couldnt see the actual well but drove right past the storage containers for fracking. There were water trucks lined up unloading water. Does anyone know how long before they start fracking.

Mr Hernandez, Did you sign an original and have your signature notarized?  If so there is a lease but, if it is not recorded at the court house, there is a possibility that someone else could obtain a lease from you and if it is recorded before the one you have now......it might be that the new one takes place of the old one.  I am not absolutely sure of this but you can ask at the court house recorders office to see.  Hope this helps.

Hello- Our lease is 3 yrs (out of 5) old and there is no activity at this time. It has not been recorded at Harrison county courthouse, and our copy is not signed. Does anyone know why? What is the significance of this? Thanks!

The wellhead is set up to run wireline tools.  They can run a tool down on wire without having to remove the wellhead (and the pressure containing capability of it).

Weatherford has arrived.  That's the fracing crew for the Buell Well.  Lot's and lot's of pumper trucks, and all kinds of equipment. It is crowded on the well pad.  By the way, if anyone is interested, the frac tanks were supplied and set up by Great Plains Oilfield Rental, and the drilling was done by NOMAC Drilling with their rig # 43.
