Does anyone have any knowledge of what is going on with leases being signed in Lake and Geauga County? Has anyone received payment?

Buckieye Mineral Development(Bob Rea) is having a meeting Thursday Nov, 15th at 7PM at the Middlefield Sale Barn at 15848 Nauvoo Rd. This will be a sign-up meeting if you are interested in working with Buckeye.  Bob will also be bringing us up to date on the recent developments in Ohio.

The Lake Ash. Geauga Landowners Assoc. will be having a meeting Thursday 10/4 at 6:00PM at Madison High School 3100 Burns Rd.  Bob Rea will be a speaker at this meeting, bringing us up to date, as he has recently  attended meetings in both Texas and West Virgina.  Bob also indicated that he would be offering sign ups for Buckeye Mineral for anyone who is interested .

T.G.C. from Texas is laying seismic testing cable from Painesville South down Auburn Rd for approx. 20 miles.  This is the farthest North or West that I've heard of or seen for Lake or Geauga Counties.

Happy 4th of July ! Please take today to be positive and rejoice in the freedoms that we enjoy as property owners in the USA. Respect the value of the  natural resources that we are blessed to have below our feet. Continue to stay the course  as we advocate for our landowners as we believe that landowners in our area should not be willing to lease their gas and oil rights for anything less than $5,500 per ac. and a 20% gross royalty. United, we will not be sold out by outsiders who have only their own best interest in mind .  Enjoy Today !

The Landowners Association of Geauga Lake and Ashtabula Counties will be having a meeting Thurday July 12th at Ledgemont Middle School 16200 Burrows Rd Thompson.  The meeting will start at 6:30PM and cover our progress to date and the next steps we need to take. 

Bob Rea from ALOV and Buckeye Mineral Development will be the featured speaker at this meeting.  He has negotiated 3 leases with Chesapeake and 1 with BP and will bring the knowledge he has gained from each signing to share with us.

I will post when the next meeting will be.  After totaling the acres last nite of people who have expressed interest(doesn't mean they will join!) there are over 14,000A who have attended these meetings.

I am involved with this group and had a Leroy meeting this evening.  Jeff Hyrne from Lake County Nursery is also involved and been keeping the nursery growers informed.  He has had a couple of meetings in your area and I will let you know when the next one is scheduled.
