CNX has applied for a permit in the Trenton formation. It hasn't been issued yet.

Location is between Bailey, Blott, Rosemont, and Palmyra Roads. Maybe this link will work.

Congratulations Ron.

Edit: After clicking on the link, get rid of everything after the coordinates. It confuses google maps.

Still flags in the field but nothing else going on there yet.

We haven't been updating much about this well even though there has been a lot done out there.

I just passed part of the rig heading North on 45. It looked like the tower section.

LOTS of activity there-think most info has been in 'wells in mah co'.  As of yesterday there were two cranes on site-lots of other equipment and office, equip or residence trailers.  Saw bigger rigs coming down Bailey to the drive.   Awesome location for nosey types like me who are excited to see a rig go up.  If I lived next door I'd be taking vacation days to park my lawnchair and watch!!

Rig is up-cranes down.  Last went by on Tuesday.  It's a great spot to get an upfront look at a pad, rig and all the equipment that goes with it.  Took pictures but I can't seem to get them to load.    Hey-where did everybody in mah co go?  It's really quiet on here!

I was driving down Palmyra road today and could see the rig. Awesome sight!!!

Try going down the western half of Blott-500ft or so from the rig with a good clear view.  It is an incredible sight.

How can one find out how far "out" from the drill site will this well draw from?  In other words how does one find out if their property may be included?

Clink on the link to the tif file, there should be a map of the drilling unit included.

Both laterals are permitted for 154.73 degrees Northwest.  They are roughly 7000 feet long, and cross over Bailey Rd.

Even if they were to drill Southeast, there really isn't a chance of your property being in the unit.  Wrong angle, and too far away.

Thanks for the info and how did you find it?  One can always hope that they're coming my way.  Surprised only 2 laterals, thought there would be more.  My property is NE of the well

Sandi,

All of the wells around here will go NW, or SE. It's because of the direction of the shale. The ODNR website has the coordinates to figure out how long the laterals will be. The County Auditor's website shows where your property is.

I knew that you were NE of there, but my mind had switched Kirk Rd. with New Rd. so I was picturing you in the wrong direction. I grew up close to there, so I do know better. I was just having a brain fart while I was typing.

Start hoping for a well SE of you between Gault, and 45. That will be your best chance.

Thanks Calla, lots of valuable info
