Comment by Marinell on August 18, 2012 at 5:31pm Can someone produce a pipeline map of Morgan County??
Then, ask Phillip Brutz to place it on Google Earth.
That way, we may see where other future activity may be going.
Comment by Randall P King on June 4, 2012 at 11:29pm Chesapeake is putting two large blocks of their Utica acreage up for bid, including Morgan and Muskingum Counties. See my post on the Ohio page, current events.

Comment by Marinell on February 18, 2012 at 2:57pm Where are the "Rec Lands"? Town / Range / Section?
or Road?
If you have a chance, drive out to see the Anadarko well being drilled in the Rec Lands. I saw it today (no rig, though). Pretty impressive operation.
Comment by Nelson E. Yost on February 18, 2012 at 9:55am Sure been quiet here on the Morgan County site. Hope we will be having fracking parties soon!
If you haven't seen this yet, check it out. Antero has apparently agreed to a deal of $5,900 and 21% on acreage as close as eastern Noble county. No guarantee we will see those kinds of figures here, but interesting none-the-less.
Here is a discussion, including a news article announcing the deal.

If you haven't done so already, take a look at the lease info on ShaleBiz.com. It appears that the traditional oil producing states get shorter term leases for about the same bonus we are getting here AND they are getting 25% royalty. Perhaps we are short changing ourselves?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
