I was wondering if there is any interest in drilling in allegany county NY. I am a landowner with approx. 200 acres of land that I own the mineral rights on. My property is located about 4 miles from the PA. Potter county line. I also have a gas pipe line that passes right next to my property.

  I did have a land man call about 2 yrs. ago and offered 750.00 per acre. I declined. I know from what I have read that the farther west you get in the state the thinner the marcellus shale is. I have not seen anything that includes any counties west of Stuben county in anything I have read. Any info any one has would be appreciated.
