Regarding the bonus payments are people talking about per year or is the bonus for the entire lease period? I.e. 10 yr lease at $3000/acre. Does that mean $30,000 per acre total over 10 years?

Everyone in NY should read DEC's EXCELLENT response to Walter Hang's allegation in the Binghamton Press that there were 270 oil spills attributed to oil and gas wells. This letter to Assemblyman Bill Parment illustrates how statistics can be manipulated. Bill Parment has always been a strong supporter of landowner rights and has supported the oil and gas industry.Parment Letter.pdf
