Permalink Reply by NE Richland County landowner on April 15, 2012 at 8:37am It appears the waterline to Ashland well is close to completion and approx. 25 frac tanks have been placed on site. Lots of activity at Eichelberger well the last several days.
Permalink Reply by Black Gold Junkie on April 18, 2012 at 10:41am Hi Everyone...I just joined gomarcellusshale. I have learned so much from this site, and I hope I can reciprocate by adding to the discussions. I am a research nut, and I have a pretty good understanding of what is going on in the Utica shale play. I hope I can both learn and contribute to this wonderful site.
I live in North Central Ohio, and I have acreage in Richland and Ashland Counties. I have acreage in close proximity to the Eichelberger-Devon Energy well site. I drove past the site last nite and took some good pics...so I thought I would upload them for your enjoyment!
I took a picture of a semi-trailer with what looks like some sort of pump apparatus...if anyone with industry experience could elaborate in would be greatly appreciated.
Permalink Reply by dan gladyszewski on April 18, 2012 at 9:24pm According to the Ashland Times Gazette, the Sheriff's department was investigating a possible bullet hole in the water line to the site. I hope it can be patched, if so, I want to see what this well produces. It could be a game changer for everyone.
Permalink Reply by Black Gold Junkie on April 19, 2012 at 5:06pm I'm sure this is not the first time this has happened...cost of doing business for the oil companys.
what day was it in the Times-Gazett? I looked in last nights paper with no luck. Was it in the police reports, or somewhere else?
Permalink Reply by dan gladyszewski on April 19, 2012 at 8:40pm Yesterday's on the police blotter, page A2, last report from sherifff's office. 4/18/12. By the way, anybody hear anything or see anything on the ashland well?
Permalink Reply by dan gladyszewski on April 20, 2012 at 1:35pm I was out to the well site today. Lots of noise, dust or steam and a crane. What do they use the crane for?
Permalink Reply by hunter4440 on April 20, 2012 at 1:44pm Does anyone know if the Harrison Township of Medina County well has been drilled? Thanks

Permalink Reply by Phil T on April 20, 2012 at 3:11pm Come on, Devon! Ashland County needs a new pair of shoes! Just kidding, but it is very exciting. Commercial production from shallower depths in the western oil window would be HUGE.
Permalink Reply by Michael Temple on April 20, 2012 at 6:42pm As imminent as other things?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
