With this additional 5400 acres recorded today,I would estimate Devon has aquired the deep rights to around 25000 acres in the townships of Bennington, Burlington, Washington, Eden, Eden, Liberty and Newton in Licking County. David R. Hill has another 20000 acres , with Oxford, Hopewell, Chesapeake(Columbia Natural Resuorces), Bakerwell, Kenoil, M&R Investments(AB Resources/Chevron). holding a good amount also.

jodi - thanks for the heads up - DRH has about 3,000 ac leased in Western Knox.  I'll check the recorder's office for changes early next week.  The Knox Cty Landowners Group (Dan Plumley) is currently negotiating with somebody - I'll also attempt to get the 411 on that.

The MVLG, Graham and Graham group holds 15000 acres in Licking with roughly 12,000 acres east of route 13. These acres along with the other 70.000 acres in Muskingum and Coshocton Counties are currently out for bids.

Yea, it's all getting interesting now! With the GandG acreage along with the Knox and Licking represented by Plumly we are gonna get some serious interest. The Knox group which includes northern Licking has around 40K. An offer is gonna be made soon to KCLG. From who I have no idea, but they want around 100k in the area so I would assume its a big name.

 The other day you had 80,000 acres now its up to 97,000 acres when your cut off date was 1April 2012?
