I am a member of a trust created by family members a couple of generations ago. The trust is managed by Huntington Bank.  The trust covers some Mineral rights in Tuscarawas county, Ohio.  A little over a year ago, Huntington re-negotiated a lease agreement and we were all surprised to see such large compensation.  Since the lease negotiation, royalties have plummeted to the lowest in the history of the trust. The Trust manager at Huntington does not appear to be interested in providing information.  I was told to be thankful for what we have and not ask anymore questions.  The members of the Trust have asked me to begin looking at our options, hence this posting. I would appreciate any guidance and direction, along with any contacts and information that would be able to assist in determining our options.  Thanks for your time and considerations, Bill P

A Trust is a legal document - you need an attorney to help you determine your rights and options. I recommend David Raynor, Brouse-McDowell , Akron office - 330.535.5711  www.brouse.com  The best Trust Attorney I know. THEN and only then can you discover what options you have regarding the mineral rights. You, as a Trust Beneficiary MAY have all kinds of rights and options, or you may be stuck with the Trust Manager turned Tyrant. You will need a copy of the Trust Document for ANY attorney or other party to help you.
