I plotted this on my USGS mapping software and it is more precisely located southeast of Dempseytown off of SR 428 (Halyday Run Road) at Mitchell Rd., near what is known as Porterfield Hill.  I wonder if Two Mile Run Park came to agreement with Range over pumping water from the lake.  I didn't see anything in the paper other than they had a couple of meetings with proposals.

Range started work last week on the well pad off of rt. 428.

Please tell me more about the Haladay Run well. I own 1 Roy well on Rt 417 on 70 acres. Would this make it worth more because I have infrastructure?

Joan  Do you mean you receive a royalty payment? If so your ground could be held by production, if your lease does not have a depth severance clause. You may need to contact an attorney.

yes I get royalty checks.  I have never seen any lease, I inherited it.  Where would I get a copy of my lease.  It was a Cabot lease. Then it was sold to Range.

Could you recommend a lease lawyer?

Bruce Rosen in Oil City handled the lease for the Fryburg Landowners Group.

I have Oil Well with Range for over 20 years in Dempseytown area.I want to know that  if they Explore for Natural Gas that would be a New Lease. Please let me know.Thank you Daniel Burke

Venango county court house would have the lease on file. You also could call Ranges office in Cochranton Pa.and ask for a copy 814-425-3100. The wells in that area are drilled in the medina sand, I do think that will keep the Marcellus  on your ground hbp, that would only exclude you from a new signing bonus, how ever you would still be entitled to your % of royalty. That is where the real money is. Bryan Huwar in Clarion is very good with oil & gas leases 814-226-6030

Is there any update on this well?  Have they started the actual drilling?
