Permalink Reply by T. Finley on August 4, 2012 at 3:20pm ODNR's online map has it plotted going just west of due north and terminating just short of Bank Street in Apple Creek.
Permalink Reply by T. Finley on August 6, 2012 at 6:07pm Rig is now onsite and vertical. Couldn't tell from my quick drive-by how close they are to starting to drill (or if they have already).

Permalink Reply by ken c on August 30, 2012 at 1:45pm I went by the Hershberger site again today. the drilling rig was idle there was a Amish neighbor walking up the rosd and I talked to him for a few minutes. He said they were done drilling north and probably getting ready to take down rig. I asked him about results and he said they were pleased with the results so far but would have to frack befor knowing for sure. I'm betting this well will be a good one because the gas company is running a line to this well from aprox. a mile away I don't think they would do this if they didn't know something.
Permalink Reply by dan gladyszewski on September 20, 2012 at 8:15pm So what's happening with this well? It's been a few weeks, any news? I have some good friends in the area and I'm hoping for some good news to tell them.
Permalink Reply by Marcus Grayson on September 23, 2012 at 3:07am Drilling is done, so the frac team is up next. Then dissipation, then live production. Rumors will abound, actual information is a few months away.

Went by site after church today and pad was full of fracking trucks. I was told they started last Monday don't know how long it takes but would think they would be about done. The trucks were all red so I would guess this means Halliburton is doing the fracking. Do they do the flaring and flow back as soon as they are done fracking or do they wait for the waiting period to end before they do anything? I am just learning about all this so excuse the dumb questions.

Permalink Reply by Finnbear on September 23, 2012 at 1:37pm The frac crew and equipment for the Hershberger 1H well moved in the week of the Wayne County Fair (Sept 8-13).
On the Thursday the 13th, one of the neighbors was told they had 3 stages of the frac already done and intended to do 15 more.
The frac water is supposed to be coming from a neighbor's pond (Dan Geiser).

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
