Does anyone know how to add it? If other people from Noble are searching, they'd be more likely to find it.

Can't say why....I just go to the forum tab at the top of page and select county groups....works for me.

This page is hard to find. Why isn't Noble County listed on the following page: http://gomarcellusshale.com/page/ohio-counties

Christine, I found this sites below to be very informative and should help you to understand how this all works.

Someone asked if hills matter. Does anyone know the answer to that? Also, where can I read an overview so I can understand this stuff better? I'm half following the gist of the forum posts. Thanks!

Robert, eclipse knocked at my door and we talked quite a bit. I like their offer and I like that they are claiming to be environmentally responsible, but I have yet to see their contract. I contacted KWGD and have received and read all their information packet and I really like all the assurances that I get from having that firm represent me, but I'm not so sure if it's such a good idea to be part of a large group. Would you happen to know if the 5th group is mainly made up of Guernsey County landowners? I find this to possibly be a problem down the road since I live in Noble.  Also, please correct me if I'm wrong and I'm assuming that these leases from kwgd have mostly been awarded to Chesapeake and if that is true, I'm not so sure that would be in my best interest either. FCEC has met with a few neighbors, but the offer wasn't as good as eclipse.  I really haven't made any decisions yet and when I do I want to make sure that I don't regret it later.

Mark, FCEC wants at least 640 contiguous acres to get the group formed here and I'm assuming the same with eclipse. The offer was low compared to eclipse. FCEC 1750/15%/renewal 5yrs  Eclipse 2300/15%/renewal 5yrs.... KWGD group...just not sure? Also, with the claim from Chesapeake regarding southeastern Ohio being "rich in oil" I might just sit tight for bit to see how this all plays out.

Thanks Mark, I've been a little confused as to how that part of the operation works. Yes, I had a landman representing eclipse sit at the kitchen table with me....the mineral rights were in question  because of the way things were written on a sales agreement vs. the deed so she took the info needed to do the research at courthouse to verify who was the actual owner of the mineral rights...looks like we are good to go.  I'm reading up about eclipse on their website www.eclipseresources.com and I got to tell ya I'm beginning to like this company.....they came right out of the gate with what I think is a relatively good offer and I like there environmental approach to drilling....they recycle their water..... it is immediately hauled off site to be used elsewhere. So far, they've got two green check marks in my book....right there. The lease contract will come once I tell her to write one up, if we decide to go with eclipse. She said that they will write a contract as it pertains to each individual and their property so that tells me that they don't use the standard O&G lease that can be downloaded online.

Very true Mark! :) Unitization has been key in the areas Ive seen. Pooling landowners to collaborate on a wellsite & pipeline could be possible?
