Share 'Anybody ever see this in a lease?'
"This lease specifically excludes the Utica Shale-Point Pleasant Formation. Lessee shall be entitled to drill through the Utica Shale-Point Pleasant Formation, but shall not be entitled to produce from said formation" A local driller who has assigned their leases to Devon has been filing these lately. The "drill through the Utica/PP" has got me curious.
