Hi Frank.  I have approx 100 acres of mineral rights in Monroe county summit township. I currently have a lease with G - R contracting out of Lewsiville, Oh where I was receiving small royalties up to about 4 years ago.  I keep asking for a copy of my lease but the lady is never in. I am going to try again today. I was recently approcahed by phone call about leasing the land.  Your comments?

Frank, I would not allow them to cross my land to another property unless VERY well reimb.! We are in the middle of a pipeline co. setting up shop on our land. They've been there for 4 months & have 5 or 6 more weeks to go, they said. They're boring 3 holes under creeks & wetlands & they have just taken over. New road across our fields, a 400' sq. "staging area" with more equip. than a drilling pad, & traffic like you wouldn't believe. Funny thing is they only have a 50' ROW + 50' working space. We can't get them to move back into their ROW. Finally contacted an attorney. He said it's not unusual. He had to hire armed guards @ $20.00 per hr., to stand on each side of the ROW to keep them off one his clients land. All this to say that if you do agree, beware. You will have tens of thousands of vehicle trips across your prop. till they're done. AND I am no tree hugger. Very much pro-drilling!
