"Bill, Don't assume because someone is sending out a check,  it does not mean the well is producing,  it just means a check is being sent out.  The well needs to be tested for production and the state agency needs to be contacted…"

Heard from a number of sources that Chesapeake(?) or another o/g company held a public meeting Monday in the Wilkshire Hills of Lawrence Township, Tusc county (Bolivar area) - anyone else hear about this?  Rumour has it they (not sure who they is) want to drill on the plains...See More

"So then, since they have not yet sent me a denial letter saying that they would not honor the lease, I can more than likely expect approval from them about the lease?  Does it usually take a shorter period of time for them to not apporve a…"

"I agree.  The check may be a few days earlier, but not a few weeks early. "
