cindy rusinoff said… Hi Tom recently we have been approached to sign a pooling agreement. Our lease rights have been sold to XTO. Beck energy kept shallow rights and sold deep drilling rights. The way I have understood it is sign due to the fact we have a small amount of acreage and we are already considered to have a producing well. That XTO would not use us for a well sight. But being in a pool we would at least have a chance at some windfall from the boom that is happening all around us. Thanks for any input. Clueless so any thoughts are great.

Ed Ganelli said… Separation of strata IS a great negotiating tool! :-) Not only that, but separating by developed strata which layers can be HBP is a HUGE advantage to landowners...if a shallow well is drilled, then only the shallow layer can be HBP!

Hi Tom, I did but he didnt answer. Ive tried to email him several times but he doesnt reply to them either. My neighbor told me today that Des is going to have a meeting next week to see if the group wants to go with the offer he has. I dont know what the offer is but heard it was with someone new in the area. I
